Why does Dragon have a dragon fly as a logo?

Even 65 years ago, the company had a very forward-looking management, who saw possibilities in selling the products beyond the boundaries of Denmark. In relation to this idea it was decided to find a logo – a symbol – which would be recognized by people all over the world.

A beautiful and graceful insect – the dragon fly – was chosen, because it lives in all parts of the world, and so the company’s current name was founded.

Ever since then, the dragon fly has been closely connected to the Danish produced abrasive materials from Dragon.
